So because of that, we didnt teach as much as we would have liked to last week. But it was good. We had a ward Father's Day party on Saturday, so that was fun. No one knew the rules of baseball, and then the cheap plastic bat broke, so we ended up playing kickball (or footbase, as it is sometimes called around here). I am being reintroduced to spicy foods. My 6th months in a bilingual area gave me weak tolerance for spicy things. Time to fix that, especially since we sometimes have dinner with the elders in our ward. Peer pressure and pride are a fatal combination.
I can't think of any particulary notewothy events. We helped someone move, it has been raining again, people came to church so we were happy. Life is good and we are out here doing our best.
Just want to say that I know that God has His hand in all of our lives. Sometimes we make a mess of things, and sometimes other people mess it up for us. But God has a plan that includes a lot of growing on our part. Not always fun, but we can have joy and peace throughout it when we trust in Him.
Have a great week!
Love,
Hermana Pace
