Enough ranting. The main point of all that is that one of our investigators this week finally came out of his shell or something and talked forever about searching for the truth and realism and theology and our eternal existence and everything. It made my day. I think he was trying to convert us to his way of thinking, but it was fun and interesting. Finally someone who spends all his time thinking!
I was sick this week. One of those throat then nose then head then cough things. Still recovering. On the first day when my throat hurt, Hermana Enriquez introduced me to the witchcraft known as essential oils. She said, "I'm going to put a drop on the back of your hand, and you have to lick it to the back of your throat." And I was like, "What?" but it was too late. It tasted like lavender flavored hand sanitizer with a hint of wild clover. It was completely awful, and then she goes and says that it works. Really, I think it might go with the whole "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" idea. Awful awful stuff.
On Fridays, it feels like we are so close to Monday. Then I think about lessons we taught on Tuesday and it feels like a lifetime away. And I start thinking "was there a life before this?" Haha.
Sorry this week's email is going to be short. We taught lots of lessons. We didn't have many dinners. We somehow didn't have any meetings with other missionaries. We taught three English classes (each with only one student). Oh!! On Friday we taught 6 lessons!!! That is the most I have ever taught in a day. It was great. I came home feeling like a missionary.
Well, that's about it. As for spiritual things, I have been reading conference talks from last year and thinking how incredible it is that we have a prophet and apostles today. God speaks, and we have the choice to listen. The more we teach, answer questions, and testify, the more I understand the order and logic of the church. The members definitely aren't perfect, but Christ is. He is the cornerstone and the head.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Also, I heard the church is taking over YouTube or something on December 7. Whatever that means.
